I am delighted to be able to share good news about the Dunmow planning application. A couple of weeks ago the solicitor rang and told me that Taylor Wimpey were NOT defending the action on the matter. A few days after that she phoned again and told me that the district council had similarly declined to offer a defence.
I think residents can be assured that I have been doing all I can on their behalf.
The upshot is that we have won without even going to court and the planning permission will be quashed as soon as the court signs the papers. As a bonus, the council was required to pay over £4000 toward our legal costs. A second judicial review, that I have been involved with for over a year, has just been granted permission to proceed to the Court of Appeal.
