Spot Father Christmas flying over Uttlesford on Christmas Eve!
At around 5.23pm on Christmas Eve if you go outside (wrap up warm!) you’ll be able to see Father Christmas’s sleigh* appearing as a bright light in the West-South-West and moving steadily across Uttlesford for four minutes before disappearing in the South-East. What a magical opportunity for those with small children – almost makes me wish mine were little again. And if that doesn’t get them scurrying to bed in anticipation, I don’t know what will. Don’t forget to leave out a mince pie and a carrot for Rudolph!
However or whatever you celebrate this festive season, please stay safe. I wish you a happy and joyous time, with family and friends, good food and plenty laughter. We will be playing lots of games and making sure we don’t miss Doctor Who – what’s your Christmas Day highlight?
